Kevin Ratcliffe was sent-off for the only time in his 493-game Everton career. He butted Tommy Hutchinson during an FA Cup quarter final against Manchester City. The ref was Peter Willis, who would send off Kevin Moran in the FA Cup final four years later - I remember him being sent off in a European cup tie too ?
Joe Royle and Colin Harvey scored their last Everton goals in the same game. A 3-2 win at West Ham in August 1974. It was also the only game in which both Royle and Bob Latchford scored for Everton.
