Bobby Parker season 1914 was a goal machine for us helping us to the title, the season ended played when the war was going to an outrage - born in Scotland nr Glasgow- it was stated he could have become as good if not better than Dixie Dean - after 1914 he was called up to the first World war came back to play football for the blues with a bullet in his back he returned but was never the same player at the time the Everton board did not relate the news to the fans he was wounded in this way, but he was compensated in a good severance pay at the end of his playing days by our club - born 1891- died 1950 photos are rare of this striker -
