Yes he was our first substitute as a inside right at Stoke scored the winner for us - only for the referee to strike it off as the game was over - Everton that -

Indeed he started as a forward in our youth team - The Catt seen him as a partner for Labby & the pair of them were brilliant - he often moved forwards to score many a goal ... for a centre back ....

Being old enough to have seen him play regularly my overiding memory is of those poor fans sat in the upper stands. His clearances were lethal if you took your eye off the ball!!!!
