Very under rated, Wane Clarke, scored some important goals for the Blues and a good genuine goal tuned out at Anfiel, his brother was better but a bit of a snide at Leeds, mind you there were quite a few of those at Leeds including the manager!!
What a ball player this lad was and terrific dribbling ability but I think Gary’s temperament could have been better, I think we transferred him to Birmingham City, he could and should have had a better career than he did.
With it saying Honey West on the bag, Joey, I think it might be a reference to the American tv series of that name which has recently been shown on Talking Pictures. I presume it must have been shown over here in the 60s - not quite old enough to remember.
