I'd have said early to mid 50s, and that we started about 1947 at Bellefield. I think we did a bit of training through the week behing the
Stanley Park End. I could be wrong on all 3 counts

No you are correct - if the weather was bad we used to play head tennis under the Gwladys street end standing area there was a large underground area there...
