Brilliant Joey. You can just feel the love and passion Peter had for Everton. It broke his heart when we went down, but his determination as Captain got us back after two seasons. He reminds of someone else enough - see my avatar. Its not the only photo of Peter that reminded me of another very determined player who fought back after adversity!! :cool:

I hope one day for the younger fans they can celebrate with photos of success, we were lucky me from 1962 onwards.....

My late father was at the Oldham game that clinched us promotion ;)

You have three years on me mate but I can remember the 69/70 team and that iconic photo of the huge, round collared, squad, with Catterick sitting in his suit and the League Championship Division 1 trophy gleaming in front of them all.
I took one from the double pages of , I presume Shoot! or Goal, and it was on the wall beside my bed. Everytime there was anything about Everton it ended up stuck on my wall - beautiful wall decorations. :cool:
