89 years ago, one of the great occasions in the history of Everton FC: the 1933 FA Cup Final victory over Manchester City.

Born on this day in 1900, Bobby Irvine - a masterful dribbler for Everton IrishFA etc. ‘There is no man who takes harder knocks and squeals less than Irvine.’ In 1922 he scored a hat-trick in 5 minutes for the Blues.
