Joey, I was born in Dún Laoghaire. Peter in the neighbouring village of Dalkey. He loved calling into my Dad's shop in Cornelscourt.

Going to Rovers games on the bus and meeting him is something special. Seeing him go down on his knees before my old Beetle because I had a Goodison Park window sticker is something I will never forget. "I went to a high school on a high mountain".

A true Blue, Rover and Irish Captain. He is what makes we so angry when some of our squad just stroll around.

The look in his eyes in your photo above would scare the life out of the opposition
