October 1978 - Andy King drives past Clemence to give us our first derby win in 7 years. Part of a 19 game unbeaten start to the season. Everton 1 Liverpool 0.

1978 - Dave Thomas a vital cog in the early Gordon Lee sides. Didn't need to beat a man to get cross in. Completely two footed. Always a quick look up before delivery directly onto Latchford's head.

Don't let anyone tell you the Gordon Lee era was poor. Like all managers, he had his faults but his teams always gave 100% and gave us some great moments. I would add the following to those already posted (can't find photos):
