Just stumbled on this great photo whilst delving the threads archives. Just shows the difference between todays top flight pros and now in financial terms. That car is an E Type Series1 2+2 and looks as though it had a hard life. Probably 5 years old when that pic was taken.
Still a lovely thing for the lad to own at the time.;)

V6 or V12? Probably V6.

I have a Daimler Double Six 5.3 litres and she drives me mad with her moodiness. When in the mood she is wonderful.

SD1, Merc 300SE and 72 Peugeot 504 Pininfarina cause me no trouble by comparison.
Lovely mate. Stunning old Brit classic you have there. I'm a classic car owner and enthusiast myself and that pic of Jimmy and his E Type made my day;)

What have you got mate? I have to say the 300SE is the most luxurious and bomb proof car I have ever owned. My everyday is a Pug 508 diesel...second I have owned. Brilliant car.

A Lotus and a TVR mate.....the latter is more unreliable than Mina and costs more in repair costslol
Which TVR? Fabulous looking cars but I know nothing about their reliability.

My Double Six just sulks most of the time but when she is in the mood.......wow.

As regards the SD1, have you ever watched The Liver Run.? Incredible police use of SD1S and bikes. On YouTube.
