OnThisDay 1938 Former Everton skipper, Jack Sharp died. He scored 80 in 342 games. He played Cricket for Lancs & played 3 Tests for England & scored the 100th Test hundred. A director at Everton, he opened the go to Sports shop on Whitechapel in 1903 until 1988 -
