71 today. Time flies. It really does. Just doesn't feel like 40+ years back that he was scoring goals for us. Good player. No......a very good player.
And what about those crosses from Dave Thomas back in the day.
A slightly better defence. And a top keeper. And those guys could have won something.

makes things worse thinking back to that time , that we apparently messed up in trying to bring Peter Shilton onboard. I think I'm right in saying that we were trying to buy him. But it fell through.
PIckford would have been great back then. Anyone but Lawson and poor old Dia Davies.
