I had the misfortune to go in that pen once - never again ...... lolWell, you live and learn! I always wondered where that was. Thank you my good man. ?
Apparently.....little groups of urchins looking for individuals or smaller groups to mug or slap aboutI read an article somewhere about how rough it was in the Boys' Pen. Kids getting robbed and slapped etc. Anyone any experience of it?

I was a big tall lad with my Dr Martins on, I had to use them they were trying to rob you - awful view not worth the 12 & 1/2 p entrance fee - no way did BK go in there .... lolApparently.....little groups of urchins looking for individuals or smaller groups to mug or slap about
How much was normal entry fee for comparison, Joey?I was a big tall lad with my Dr Martins on, I had to use them they were trying to rob you - awful view not worth the 12 & 1/2 p entrance fee - no way did BK go in there .... lol
I missed that game but went to the game against Panathinaikos. They say Everton & Gladbach were favourites. How we didn't spank Panathinaikos at Goodison still rankles. We equalised with a Davey Johnston last kick off the game goal. They were a classy team favourites we beat the - then we did an Everton that.... doh I saw them in the home game it pizzed down all night great game we won on pens -
Wasn't it the first ever pen shootout in european competition? I recall an old post whereas even the fans didn't know what was happening and confusion set inThey were a classy team favourites we beat the - then we did an Everton that.... doh I saw them in the home game it pizzed down all night great game we won on pens -
Yes - after my hero Joe missed the 1st pen then they scored with their first pen - there's many people thought we were knocked out headed for the exit before they got called back - not realising all five had to be taken within reason .....Wasn't it the first ever pen shootout in european competition? My old man put me in there when he thought I was old "enough" to cope!! Once was enough, it was like a Borstal in there, some proper headcases! Scared the bejesus out of me, so it was back to the Enclosure or Main Stand for me an him, although the Top Balcony scared me just as much when we scored as my Dad used to lift me in the air, I always felt like I was falling out of the stand! *reminder to self to take my lad in there next time LOL!I had the misfortune to go in that pen once - never again ...... lol
