That was late 1965 / early 1966.
iirc, Harris of Burnley played in an early 66 international (Jan??) Vs Poland at Goodison
Again, iirc, we had 6 or 7(?) in the original 40, Husband was one.
6 months is a long time in football, Milne, Eastham, Thompson, Harris, Baker, never made it, Peters did.

I've searched for a list of the 40 but can't fimd it - anybody feel free to find it.
