Moores was ruthless. What he did to Carey was horrible and, although we might have needed a change, he showed little respect for Catterick either.
John Carey got a massive pay off in the courts in 1967 - over the way he was sacked ......John Moores legal team they ill-advised him at the time .......it proved him costly........
Obviously a big fan of Dixie , being of an age ,this is one of the best photos of him ,can't be bothered .To google him but how tall was he and what was his weight,thanks.
