….good find, Joey. I recognise a few in the opposition line-up, Johnny King was a very decent and tough midfielder when Alty had a number of cup runs. I recall them playing Ossie Ardilles inspired Spurs and doing very well.
When I was little, I remember my eldest brother used to get weekend home leave from the RAF and come home to go to Goodison (and for Ma's roasts !) . His favoured spec was in that majestic Goodison Road terrace but sometimes he used to treat me and buy Bullens stand tickets from Jack Sharps in Whitechapel. Happy days... wish he was still here for me to treat him.
How many times in the last 51 years have I thought about just that ? I know the feeling mate.
