What exactly was the entry qualifications for this tournament. Full members of what I wonder? How long did it last. Genuine question.

Was just a "filler" competition for no euro football,think it included all the teams who finished in euro spots the season before and league/fa cup winners,it was a totally horrific experience.

....think that might have been the game I was at standing in Bullens Road near the Gwladys St corner flag & Liam Brady did a Puskas drag back that took two of our players out the game. I couldn’t tell you the result of that game but that moment has stuck in my memory until this day.

Yeah it sounded like it could be. Full members, I mean in itself that could be misconstrued Another shambolic attempt to fill in the shocking void from the Heysel ban I suppose.
