I have done a reassessment of this.Why I assumed it was West Brom I don't know.Just noticed in Joey's post versus Wolves...doh??..... Anyway hope this clears it up. 11/4/64-65 V Wolves.Gabby 4 Brian 3 5/12/64-65 V Wolves.Gabby 4 Brian 6 So there we are Gabby it is.
 
The young alan ball reckons this was the first player to guide his skills on Bryan Douglas, then Jimmy greaves, and Denis Law - the guy below an England international had a market stall in 1981 with his sign up at Clitheroe Market selling tools etc how times have changed!

Was it 25/3/72 v Wolves. Ended up 2-2...Bernie Wright there with Howie. France were away v Wales that day. I couldve taken that photo...was in our speck in The Street ! Wish I was that kid again.
Well done mate it must be that, especially France having final score of 6 points. 2pm kick offs for the rugby then meant scores were passed on at the footy while game not finished.
Yep, occasionally nostalgic for many things being a Blue then although in that two year period to see the ace 1969-70 team fade away player by player was terrible!
