Pick started off as if he had Dixie's record in his sightslol However injuries slowed his progress down and by 1966 his England ambitions gone, and FA Cup final miss disappointment, signalled the approaching end of toffee time. Went on to bang in many goals elsewhere and his time with the Tangerines at the end of the 60s is the stuff of legend
