Harry Catterick in his Everton playing days looks on as a good observer of one of our players getting it in the chops via the Fulham goalkeeper at Craven Cottage - :D in 1948 FA CUP game beaten 1-0 v a lower side - we were a poor side then -

1954/55 FA Cup Match at Goodison Park, Everton v Liverpool. Mounted police had to disperse a vast crowd in Goodison Park when tickets run out. The queue had stretched for over a mile they were in the old Division 2 drawn away to us in a division higher - what possibly could go wrong they hammered us 4-0 - my 6-year-old brother to be told me how bad it was as an Evertonian back then after that defeat we were nailed on Favourites - Everton That -

Mick Ferguson scores against Ipswich at Goodison Park 1981-82 never really made the grade for us as a no 9 - he had small feet as well :D is that Inchy and Alan Ainscow in that photo?

Possibly Asa Hartford in one of his last games?
No I'd go O'Keeffe and Walsh. I think that was in Ferguson's purple patch with us when he scored in three consecutive games and then another when we lost to the RS.. Didn't last!
