The Russians are a mystery to me, even though I was there. The German studying the ball is the splendidly named Wolfgang Overath, I think. The other German in the background is Webber possibly. He scored the 2-2 goal in the final if my memory serves me well. Beautiful capture of unique moments in time at GP.

Great pictures of the World cup at Goodison thx.The Germans were a formidable side.Nothing was easy for England in that world cup,but they were superb.Bobby Charlton was at his best.Bally brilliant.
