Agree Alan Ball was a player at a good level long after he left us too early - at Arsenal and Southampton - Best the alcol caght up with him he was an out and out winger where Bally was a complete world class midfielder!

He played for Wolves a great player striker - his brother was Cyril of Spurs the nice one Cyril song?
In the Fa cup game away in the 1960s on ytube he is the one who ran us ragged till Moggsy nailed him Westy had that unbelievable saving game we drew 1-1 with a late Bally pen - I am sure that was Peter Knowles, Moggsy half killed him - no subs in those days he just limped through the game after that!

The rumours of Gary Speed's departure , and their are many have sadly both gone to HK and GS graves- he was a great player another player who left us and this world too early literally - both very sad Garys even more so used to see him at local level seemed a lovely guy!
