Tony Hibbert(who I actually liked) probably made more out of the game than Ball did. But that was how it was. Haven't times changed? Money wise.....

Bally was on £50 more than a Ford worker at that time, but it was a different era the players now get film star wages, and Ford worker's are thankful to hold onto their jobs .....our programs used to advertise vacancies at Ford's - how times change ......
