cos i seem to remember a lower denomination of royalty was supposed to have been doing that .

Blame the rs. the year previous the queen had to sit through the 'bantz' of them singing god save our TEAM' and took the hump
a bit precious tbh.
you never saw stammering Georgie bailing out of 'boring' official duties coz he got peed off
