The team actually played the game well, didn't try just to feed Latch, got the game under control, then fed Latch
By then It was 5-0 and fairplay to the Reff he knew it was all over for Chelsea and the penmo was, even by todays standards a VERY soft penno

Although we only went through by that one goal my main recollection was that we actually did a very good away leg performance and were not in too much danger late in. The home leg had been more typical with us not really rising to the occasion and the 1-1 draw being hard to argue against even though their goal came late on iirc.
I can only imagine what Lee said to McKenzie!!
