Heard a story about Dunne and Ball after a league cup game away. Think it might have been Bristol rovers or City but not sure. We had lost and the two of them were on the bus after laughing their heads off when Howard boarded. He went mad with them laughing. One of them replied...don’t worry boss we will win the replay. Red faced Howard informed them that the format had been changed to a pure knock out comp.....
