Great days for the fans ;) I was only10 and couldn't leave the house me mar wouldn't let me go because of my older brothers and there mates and there carry on i get it now why but at the time I was gutted listening on radio was good thou and boss celebrating when we scored:D

I’m normally the biggest pessimist around but that day I just knew we would equalise. I guess it was down to how good a side we were in those days. Anything was possible and we had a never say die attitude with the type of players we had in the side.
When Sheedy took that free kick my soon to be wife couldn’t watch. She just looked at me and celebrated when she saw my face light up.
And then she spent her honeymoon with Wayne Clarke a few weeks later. Have I ever told you about that...?
