I think you'll find it was the players 2 day bender after beating Rapid, and the 100 degrees at Wembley just 3 days later that did for us.
Great shame because we'd have been uncontestably the team of the 80s if we'd have beaten Utd to win the treble. Now it's labelled another decade of RS domination.

I’m embarrassed and ashamed not to recognise them. Obviously Bally for Southampton but is the other Sheedy? It can’t be though as he is passing with his right foot.
