Ted Sager a Goalkeeping legend for the blues playing 495 games made his debut in 1930 last game in 1952 {in between the war years} His superb judgement, and ability particularly coming out for crosses and catching them as a Blues keeper earned him Two Championship medals - a FA Cup Winners Medal - Sager is pictured below on a snowy pitch in action at Goodison v Sunderland -
