yes thanks to one person, Big Sam, if your saying we should of just offered him 6 months that wouldnt of worked. Why should he do that? Lets be serious about this, we needed him, we needed him to do a serious job for us far more then he needed our name on his CV
We dont need him.

FFS, this is Everton. He knows how lucky he is to be here. He cant believe his luck we have an owner clueless enough to sack a manager with no one lined up and had to turn twice to him.

He;s out come June. He knows that too.

haha he and Dan Meis could be the 2 more important people in Everton recent history and future

Yeah he is lucky to be here, but it was Everton that got ourselves into the mess that we needed him and him alone to fix

...and then he can go in May.

Keeping clean sheets ten in one season RM giving Timmy a 3 year deal stunk to high heaven imo!
Robles will maybe move on soon good luck to him !

Tim Howard only failed to get 10 clean sheets once in his Everton career Joey yet you go on like it makes Joel the second coming of Sagar

Sam had, no doubt, or was given short-term objectives and then longer term ones and probably a review at the season's end.

He has achieved everything that was required in terms of short -term objectives; he has accumulated points. Over the last seven games EFC is in third highest spot. The relief is general and all the fans have a different outlook on the season. No longer does fear of a relegation battle rule.

On the pitch, the team has a structure and the defense is much better. So many defenders are now playing well when they were poor all season.

The attack and midfield requires attention. Now Sam moves onto to the next stage. A left back, a number 9 and a top midfielder.

The debate is a false one. Davek and the moaners want to fire Sam because he has been successful. I want Mum to bake Sam a cake.

At the moment we are about their level.only a few fairly lucky results separate us from the teams grouped above the bottom three.West Ham score that penalty Mane squares the ball etc etc.
I can't argue with anything said in that post as it is spot on. But if we had a game where Allardyce was goung to have a go surely this was the one.

Wasn't only Howard that cost martinez his job.....the incredibly small matter of ignoring the "how to defend" manual might have had something to do with it? Anyway just hoping beyond hope that once we stop conceeding (which we partly have achieved) we start to consult the "how to attack " manual a little more eh ? lollol And then invest in a manager who has a long term vision involving us winning some silverware/cups etc? Over to you EFC board.................:eek:

Bobby and sam as co managers... the dream ticket
