Okay that's the breaking point

Yes, it was bad, but lets be honest, did we really think he would actually have a perfect record without any unexpected draws or losses from bad performances? No we didnt.

Also, its a good thing, as lest we forget, that while we really hope he gets us into Europe again, I think most here hope he is not the long term solution, and this reminds the bosses above that we need a real top manager to truly compete. Too much success will potentially breed complacency among those at the top.

At this stage who knows if this is a wind up thread. But this is the way I see it. I never wanted Allardyce here. So he's here, that's not gonna change. And furthermore it wouldn't surprise me if he finishes out his contract.

At the end of the day Moshiri is an accountant, do you think he is gonna keep throwing cash away? It's not in his DNA. Sam's here and yeah maybe the football is [Poor language removed] but we are all going to have to suck it up for the foreseeable future.

His results so far have been impressive, if he can take the maxim of building from a solid base and expand that to something that resembles football. I'm prepared to back him. He's one of us now and that's the least he deserves.

Sit back and if you have to gag, get yaself a brown bag, he's here till at least the summer, get used to it. Stop bitchin', this is the new reality, the new Everton. It's a travesty but it is what it is. This is the end product of over 30 years of mismanagement. You want to blame someone? Allardyce is not your man.

OP is right. Draws arnt good enough and we look toothless up top creating virtually nothing

Last week at Chelsea not a single shot on target for six years at home says it all

Three draws is the same as losing twice and winning one. So 3 points out of 9 is hardly going to get you even mid table

Except for some reason the perseption of three draws is better than losing two and winning one. When in fact it’s the same points total

Classic.

Good job we didn't lose them all by 3+ goals though yeah?

We were on a scary spiral far beyond anything we've seen in recent years.

Yes Friend but draws also prevent the opposition from receiving a maximum 3 points to your zero, so in 3 games you have gained 3 points and given away 3, versus gaining 3 and giving away 6, stopping them from catching/ stretching away from you in the league. Are you new to this here game?

It was always going to be like this at the start. He had to stop a leaking ship from sinking for a start, at least i don't fear we will concede 4 every game now. So he had to go back to the very basics, this is what you are seeing now, which in turn will get the desired results to build confidence.

Once we have built confidence the attacking more expansive football will follow, those players still haven't got it in them to take games by the scruff of the neck. They need to concentrate on being solid for now such was the manner we were conceding before Sam came.

So If this was 18 months in to his contract then i might think different but for now, get some clean sheets and some points on the board.

Another bore draw from Sam.

Get rid.

This isn't acceptable.

5 clean sheets in 7 games like.Sure the attacking play needs to improve, but Sam Allardyce has only been here less than a month, and we have improved greatly. After all the man inherited a total and utter shambles of a squad, who were getting beat by everyone and anyone.Just cheer up and enjoy christmas!

"This the biggest club and best set of players Allardyce has ever had, give him a chance ffs"

"The club is a mess and the players are all terrible, no wonder our football is so bad, you can't blame Allardyce"

Indeed. We couldn’t even manage a draw when that Unsworth fella was in charge......
