We're a very reactive team by and large. OK, we forced the pace against Liverpool and City, but they usually need a bomb up their arses to get themselves sorted out.

This is true.

This is part of the reason why I think we will have a good second half to the season in the league. We have something to chase.

I wonder where the motivation comes from now. I just hope Moyes at least uses the rest of the season getting Coleman, Duffy and whoever else blooded and ready for the near future. The season's a car crash. Roll on 10/11. :(

Yes, the motivation (you really have to look for it^^) is chasing a place in Europe. Perhaps 7th will be enough.

I agree, it would be great to turn the computer off without saving the game and starting this whole sorry season again.

Really disappointed today. I really thought we'd beat Birmingham today and have a really good cup run again. Obviously it was not to be.

We better beat Sunderland on Wednesday!! They are woeful on the road.

Saha went straight down the tunnel so he must have had a bit of an injury problem, hence the substitution.

Personally thought we were unlucky to lose the game over the 90 mins. I know we were [Poor language removed] 1st half, but we had enough chances 2nd half to get a draw and live to fight another day. Saha,s 2 efforts, one that hit the post and the other hart was rooted to the spot and it goes inches wide and fella,s 2 efforts on another day at least one goes in.

We are just gonna have to take our medicine on this one and move on as much as it hurts now. Im pissed off but im trying to look at the positives like mikky,s return and with less games now hopefully our accent up the league will continue with more rest. Clutching at straws i know, but i need something to keep me going until we batter sunderland:P

I don't think we deserved to win it if you look at the entire game. I do however feel that if we were just a goal down in the 2nd half then it would have been much different. Considering 2nd half alone, yes we deserved to win it but the poor defending and overall play in our 1st half cost us the match.
