Remember to take lots of gas and air, and keep your breathing steady and you'll be ok. The nurse will help you through it.
These things are very difficult for dads and let's face it, it's not as though you haven't already done your part so if in doubt, more gas and air. Then a coffee and a cig.

It's not good for new mothers to stand around, so be sure she cooks your tea when she returns.

We'll be here to councel you upon your return and give you a great cheer upon the wonderful news, and don't worry ..... if it's a slightly different colour than you were expecting, we're great with Photoshop so noone but us ( and the err ..... milkman) will ever know.

My Mates wife had a little boy at 4.37am this morning. Poor family planning you lot! Labour with a hangover cannot be good!
