I don't have children so I don't have the frequent opportunity to find out but do they even televise this stuff anymore? I remember similar stuff from my youth; primarily art style, music and whatnot. Like a warm blanket, that old stuff.

Cartoons used to be a feature of my childhood, seem to have disappeared off mainstream telly.

Hand drawn animation is the best imo , some of it today looks like it’s been made with a mobile app

Look at the Looney Tunes from the 40s and 50s and see what is produced in recent times, the older stuff is far more expressive

Perfect thread for this but planning on updating+clean-installing the OS on the ol' PC tomorrow or Sunday (more likely; don't want to miss the possible GOT fireworks), so you might not see me for a while if I don't know WTF I'm doing. Don't have a backup PC these days but that will change with this event as I want to also get back in to the Linuxsphere. I guess there's always the phone but...
