We've just had terror attack threat raised and somehow someone has installed a ten foot statue on a plinth 20 feet up in central london, signed it and no one has seen anything. weren't the pigs rolling out cctv facial recognition throughout the capital?

A show by comedian Peter Kay at Birmingham's Utilita Arena has been evacuated and the venue is being searched after a "potential suspicious bag" was found.

West Midlands Police said that a 19-year-old man is in custody.

The comedian was about 45 minutes into his show when it was cut short, according to a BBC reporter in the audience.

Kay left the stage as part of the evacuation.
Videos shared on social media appear to show crowds at the venue heading for the exits.
