Missing a few although seems Wood might return. Thought based on the first half they were going to lose by 4 or 5 at Villa but they were really good second half and could've forced a draw on another day.

Thinking a 1-1 here with two teams happy to sit back with many players behind the ball.

I suppose you're not technically wrong but it just feels like being negative for being negatives sake. Us, Newcastle and Villa all finished 4th and so were entered into the champions league. We just went into an earlier round because we achieved a 4th place finish years and years before they did.
We didn't qualify, though. They did.

Us losing in the qualifers and saying we made the CL is like losing in the Championship play-offs and saying we played in the Premier League.

It's not being negative. It's being correct. My point is simply that as a club, we have completely underachieved even in comparison to the non-super clubs. And that's utterly damning of how we have been run.

Think it's just semantics really. Uefa call the first few rounds "qualifiers" and you've just gone with it. It's like saying the first few rounds of the league cup are qualifiers because the big teams aren't in it yet.

So can people stop saying Dyche got Burnley into the Europa League now then?
