would love it if we beat them after what they did to us at goodison
All agreed - but I was talking about the Champions League from 1992 onwards when, along with the Premier League, modern football was born - with all the grim commercialism that brought. We played in the European Cup in the 1963/64 and 1970/71 seasons. Yes, I know it was decades ago but it still counts nonetheless. We qualified for the 1985/86 and 1987/88 seasons, but we all know what happened there. If we had won the whole competition in just one of those seasons, imagine how things could have panned out. Instead, we are left scraping the barrel, much in the same way as this post is doing.
Worth adding that Forest have won the European Cup twice, in back-to-back seasons in the late seventies.
Beto in goal and pickers up front? A bold choice sir!Beto

You know we qualified in 04/05 right?Absolutely disgraceful that Forest and Villa have made Champions League before us. How many English clubs have made the CL now? Leeds, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Blackburn, Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea, City, Leicester, and now bloody Forest?
When are we going to start living up to the "big club" tag?
That said, well done Forest.
and we qualified when 'they' changed the rules and let the RS in because they cried that 'we wanna defend our trophy' (even though they knew before they kicked a ball in that trophy winning campain, that it wouldn't be enough to get them into the CL)We played in the European Cup in the 1963/64 and 1970/71 seasons. Forest aren’t there yet.. City, Chelsea and Newcastle are gonna get very close to them I think.
We didn't.You know we qualified in 04/05 right?
I suppose you're not technically wrong but it just feels like being negative for being negatives sake. Us, Newcastle and Villa all finished 4th and so were entered into the champions league. We just went into an earlier round because we achieved a 4th place finish years and years before they did.We didn't.
We made it into the qualifiers.
