not that far from dreaded relegation

We should be winning leicester away .

Well, subsequent results and displays from the Foxes show we were wrong in thinking it was a fixture we "should" win.

And the annoying thing is we were the better team that day......they were never second best against Arsenal and they demolished the Mancs.

Point behind the rs, level with united and played the harder fixtures, just for context of our crisis, oh and unlike either weve played well besides catastrophic individual errors, ubited, spurs and the rs problems are much deeper than ours

Other results are irrelevant. On the day we should have won. Going in front twice and letting it slip. Especially when both their goals were so poor from us defensively...

You said "we should be winning Leicester away".......those other results are clearly relevant insofar as other top teams have struggled there so there can be no complacency, we had no divine right to win there

If you had said "we should have won at Leicester" then you would have been 100% correct.

It was two points chucked away for the reasons you point out in your second post.....just as two were chucked away against Arsenal and all three yesterday.

I'm looking forward to both games against Liverpool and Utd.

We haven't been playing as badly as our points tally indicates. We where just a bit unfit to begin with and then a couple of Howard Howlers and an Osman screw-up but at least maybe that's them all done in one game because you just know they would happen at some point

Liverpool and Utd have much bigger issues.

Liverpool without Sturridge look a mid-table side, generally just average everywhere which is because it's not a blip for them, they just aren't that good.

Utd have a very shaky defence which is even worse than ours and we seem to be over our defensive issues (Gibson, Howard and Osman were the culprits not the defenders).

Win those two and our season would be back on.

I'd take two draws personally the way our defence is at present

I wouldn't mind us getting relegated. At least some of the reactionary melts on here would bore off and go support the next flavour of the month team.

if we hadn't dropped the point's against leicester and arsenal and won yesterday. all 3 matches we could and should of won. we would be 2nd a point behind chelsea.
