Not sure why we need midfielders

Realising he only owns 15 midfielders and suffering a mild panic attack, Everton boss David Moyes.....

Just read this on the Metro website why all the panic if we have 15 midfielders.

Although just the OS and they list 9, maybe they're hiding 6 somewhere

Ha dunno where those 15 have come from, I count 11 at best and thats including Kissock, Gosling and Rodwell who arent exactly there yet and Bains, Jags and Neville who IMO are much more suited to defence, which by my reckoning leaves us with 5 (including Shandy!).

If we have 15 midfielders I must have a restricted view seat without realising it

then it's youngsters if I'm not mistaken.

And VdM isn't in the plans so that leaves us with 6 experienced midfielders. That is a worry in my book, especially since Moyes like the 4-5-1 formation.

Jagielka isn't a midfielder, hes played there and been shocking.

He's a defender and were in trouble if we start trying to disguise Jagielka and Neville as midfielders.

AVDM can be taken out of the equation, leaving us with 4 midfielders.

That's what I originally thought Bainsey which is why I checked the OS, but it appears we have 25 players that are on professional contracts at Everton.

They list 9 with Neville being disguised as a midfielder, 3 kids (John Paul Kissock, Gosling and Rodwell) so leaves us with 5 with VdM injured and Cahill not match fit.

Leaves us with 3 midfielders and 1 pretender for the BR's game.

Oh joy just can't wait

I think Everton have conquered the Cryogenics bit. 4 midfielders in cold storage until we really need them. Like after the first of the year when the squad becomes even more paper thin than it is. Hats off to the research department.
