No need for the actual footage!! haha. It still hurts after all these years. I bawled for ages after that and if I think too hard about it I might start bawling again!! That is 1 cup final we should definitely have won and would have capped the perfect season. As it is, it is a stain on that teams achievements. If I could change 2 results in our history I think this and the 1986 final would be the ones. (that might make a good thread actually! top 3 results you would change)

He nearly killed a linesman at highfield Rd putting a ball out, he'd retired by the time he came round.

Andy Gray was in the away end (had left by then) and took jacket off to be met by BOO's as he had a red jumper on, his face when he realised !! he was sat directly behind me.

I was 8 for the 85 Cup Final. Went along in my finest replica kit. Funny now all I remember from that day is walking back from the stadium to our car, with tears the whole way and my dad saying "don't worry lad there'll be dozens of other league titles and cups to celebrate".

I remember when we signed Whiteside I was thinking why we've signed a croc that made me cry!
