It’s all a load of old nonsense. When I was growing up, in the 70s/80s, Arsenal and Spurs (Everton too) were light years ahead of us. I quite liked having a rivalry with QPR, West Ham, Cardiff etc. Times change though and to anyone born from the late 80s onwards the football landscape looks very different. So Chelsea are 2nd behind arsenal?
Was it on elastic?Yes, I remember that well. I think I threw 50p in the bucket a few times.
So tell me what was it like visiting those second division grounds? It’s all a load of old nonsense. If you cant remember, dont worry ill ask your Tottenham mate.lol
I loved that season in Div 2 (one season was a novelty, might not have been so much fun if it was longer).
Every away game was a brilliant day out (even if the results weren't). Went to almost every game that season and can remember most of them like they were yesterday.
Speaking of yesterday, I can't remember what I had for lunch.
I rember watching you beat someone 9-0 on MOTD during that season.
Bristol Rovers. I was at that one.
4 goals for Colin Lee in his debut.
I have seen us score 9 twice (9-0 Vs Bristol Rovers & 9-1 Vs Wigan) and concede 7 twice (7-0 Vs LFC & 7-2 Vs Bayern Munich).
FA Cup wasnt it? Was on the terraces at Bristol City in those days, my, how we laughed.
No mate. The league.
Good evening mate hope you are well.Had a good night watching the Chelsea game with some Chelsea fans in tooting last night.
Spent the Sunday evening getting tipsy in a Millwall pub in Deptford couple weeks ago with some of their fans.
I never really got the tribal hatred for fans of other clubs, people are people wherever you go. And i really can't muster the energy to hate anyone but Liverpool.
Looking forward to spreading more love around the big smoke.
