Fulham is a decent away as is Chelsea (well apart from their fans), while Arsenal is semi-acceptable. The rest are in the pits and that’s it for me.

Arsenal are really a South London team that moved north. They're originally from Woolwich Arsenal, which is why they're known as the Gunners. My Spurs-supporting brother calls them Woolwich Wanderers.

My son was born in Bedford, lives in St Neots (on the Beds/Cambs border) and supports Spurs. His birthdate and initials, along with those of my brother and my nephew (who arranged it) are stamped into metal parts of the fabric of NWHL.

...I have a fondness for Bedford because we beat them en-route to winning the cup in ‘66.

I go through their manor on the way to and from work. The only poeple I know of with with a beef against them is Brighton.

West Ham are definitely the club I despise the most in London mainly because their fans are utter amoebas who think they’re hard...

... but often lost when scraps started. What’s your opinion of them @Yid4life? Don’t mind Spurs by the way, but it’s not the best for a pint.

Those days had no CCTV cameras and police footie hooligan intelligence units, it was basically a free for all.

You were never sure which mob was going to get on at the next station, but I always found that the London firms were more interested in bashing each other, than us unwashed northern rabble.
