Again Baines has not made the England squad, but Warnock has! What an absolute joke! Anyone can see that Baines is and will continue to be twice the player of Warnock at club level. Yet, a couple of poor performances at international level have left him without a sniff. The fact is Baines looked like a rabbit in the headlights in his last outings for England but surely he must get in ahead of Warnock. There is only 2 better left backs than Baines in the premiership for me (Cole & Evra) and maybe Clichy is on par, but he has nowhere near the assist ratio of Baines in previous seasons. Its a joke!

Also WTF is SWP, Glenn Johnson and Robert Green doing in the squad, they are overrated garbage
 

In both matches Everton's Phil Jagielka produced towering performances in central defence, lessening the impact of the absence of Ferdinand and Terry.

Its always bollocks but I'm happy he's not in now. England can sink into the ocean for all I care at the moment. I don't normally feel like that, but such is the amount of times our players are overlooked for complete dross, thats how I feel now.

Reina over Arteta last year was a class example of the Everton invisibility cloak for all international managers.

Only cole perhaps is better than Baines. I'd say he was our best player vs Brum.

I bet Darren Bent missed out again as well. You have one shaky international game for England (and that because Gerrard was roaming out of position) and everyone makes a decision that you aren't up for it. Based on that if Pele was called up and had a poo game nobody would know the legendary world cup winner.

Same thing happened to Bent. How much are we paying this prick?

He basically told them he weren't up for going to the W/C .

He is unofficially retired , as long as Fabio is boss . Poss after that , too .

In truth , hes got Cole in front of him , Gibbs behind . I love Bainsey , but hes getting no change out of either of them .

Move on . He has .
 
There isnt an Evertonian on the planet that wouldnt be devastated at the thought of Warnock replacing Baines at LB for us. That is the biggest indication of just how wrong the England manager has got it. But its not gonna change and for some reason i dont think its the end of the world to Bainsey. One things for defo, as we dont have a back up I dont think Moyes will be too gutted at him not having to risk injury playing for a group of overated selfish brats.

Hope they've all been training hard - or rather meeting with a succession of businessmen to sign lucrative book deals, supermarket advertisements, fast food and obesity causing soft drink sponsorships and planning to throw the whole thing for an extra chunk of change from a chinese betting consortium.

Warnock you have to laugh.

Truth is John Terry took a shine to Mrs Baines and he now wants to play for Ireland where he feels safer playing alongside Richard Dunne.

That's basically the same squad that flopped at the world cup.


Well, at least Baines gets some well needed rest.
 
Maybe not for the lad himself, but for Everton this is great news it gives him a well earned rest important for us with him being our only natural left back.

Have to say its a bit comical that one of the highest payed managers on the planet holds Warnock in higher regard than Baines .
