Vlasic,Davies,Kenny, holgate,DCL, & lookman will all be better & stronger players next year as will Everton as a result...

Expect Everton to be a lot stronger next year.....
That's if we can keep hold of Lookman, seems to be enjoying his time in Germany

Our youngsters are our future, they are not going anywhere....

Expect them to be more productive next season & play an important part in Our destiny...

Stones Barkley Deulofeu Galloway Browning are all no longer in the first team so I don’t think ‘our youngsters are our future’ is any guarantee of them staying.

Lookman will have suitors all over the place and we’ve shown him no reason to stay. Vlasic could probably secure a deal on the continent if he wanted. Not sure anyone would want Calvert Lewin.

We need the new manager to have enough wow power to sell his vision to these players so that they stay. Another season of watching a half fit Bolasie start ahead of you under Allardyce will see them all push for moves.

Agree with the bolasie statement....Agree that Allardyce has no vision.....

But we must keep our youngsters & not sell, make them part of the team not all at once but a good mix of young & experience players has always been the best....

Disagree on DCL think he will be a very good striker in a few years....

We have a good bunch of youngsters so our future looks bright....

The amount people big up the yoot is amazing, we have on the main some very, very average young players, granted some of them have potential, but I honestly dont see any of them becoming anything special.

I guess our highly paid managers can see the basic thing I can see.

And being better than Bolasie isnt something we should cherish, IM BETTER THAN BOLASIE.

Vlasic always struck me as a lazy signing in this sense. " We see at first hand European opponents in the Europa, let us sign one of the better players for not too much money and see how it goes". It appears not to have gone very well, although I would pick him ahead of some in the present midfield.

I agree with your principle, it’s the execution I’m worried about. We’ve had good young players at Everton pretty much from Hibbert onwards. The failings have been the same though. They come into a struggling team and despite impressing we fall back on older more experienced players to get us out of trouble. The young player invariably gets hacked off and either moves up the food chain to get the success they want or goes for a stupid move and never recovers.

We failed to capitalise on Rooney, Rodwell and Barkley were both let down by poor management, Gosling took a stupid move, we messed up when we had Lukaku and Stones at either end of the team. Deulofeu has been messed about by us and now we’re doing the same with Lookman and Vlasic. Coleman is the last young player at Everton I can remember who actually had a well thought out plan for their development.

..we lack a central midfielder capable of getting us up the pitch. I thought this fella did that in the home against Arsenal, even if he gave the ball away for one of their goals. He’s not been tried in that role since.

He ran into blind allys. Another Koeman masterstroke as he suddenly realised he bought guff and lacked in main areas.

He's an attacking wide player, like a Martial or Rashford. He's not a CM.

...I don’t see him as a wide player at all, but I suppose it’s all about opinion. I think he can pick a pass and score goals in a similar role to the one Barkley played.

He was a completely random signing with no idea of where he would fit into the team we were crying out for a left back and a striker and this is what Walsh delivered, no slight on Vlasic as i think he is talented but not what we need.

I'm still stunned that he wasn't sent on loan. I can accept the fact that you think he isn't ready Sam, but he should be getting regular football somewhere.
