Got a lot of potential and just like on Thursday he had moments of quality today but......he also ran down a few blind alleys and lost the ball cheaply which led to a few Arsenal counters (two of which they scored from). Mad thing is though he lost the ball pretty high up the pitch with not much support around him. How we managed to get countered despite sitting as deep as we did is baffling.

A player plays decent considering the absolute dross that surrounds him. A goal today was his fault yes, but out of the past 3 or 4 disgusting displays that I've seen he is one of the very few positives to note. Knock him down before he's even started ...

Never change blues ;)

Also that giveaway was compounded by some horror show defending. Keane kept dropping while Jags stepped up and Keane ended up playing everyone on and they created a 3v1 that could have been 3v2 or 3 otherwise

that was what I have been banging on about Baines for ages, people are saying baines s past it because he cant 'bomb on down th wing', Bines was attacking ahead of the ball when this horror pass came and they exploited Baines' fullback space. When we stop giving away possession cheaply, we may start to see some of the players getting the confidence to press more. We are dog turd. I like Vlasic though, doing half OK in a turd team.

Bad pass or no bad pass - Baines is still very much finished.
