Neither are really "wide" players, but they can operate as inside forward types, which would be PERFECT if we had wingbacks with some pace and aggressiveness.

But Vlasic had some pretty obvious qualities in our matches against Split. Beyond that, he's still got a lot of improving to do, which is a good thing.

Now Henry is a true wide threat in the vein of Traore last night. But regardless, Vlasic is playing well and is clearly a talent.

Only a matter of time before the crowd turns on him. He’s doing alright now but when he has a bad spell the morons won’t be able to handle the fact that a teenager needs time to adapt to a foreign league. They paid their money at the gate though so there’s nothing we can do about it.

Wouldn't mind Vlasic on the left in front of Baines. He seems good at receiving the ball under pressure like Pienaar.

Somehow Koeman has to get it into his head to play Vlasic/Lookman/Mirallas/Bolasie (when fit) in wide areas.

And not Rooney/Sig/DCL.
