Got better second half, seemed to struggle withe the strength and physical nature of the game in the first half. his little back heel to Seamus was nice.

I'd loan him out next season, he ain't ready yet. I hate Bisto as much as anyone but I can see from today why Vlasic has been left out. I still can't rap my head around Lookman being loaned out though. He should have been a fixture in this team from January onwards.

Vlasic is a far better prospect

..clearly short of game time and not very sharp but there were a couple of glimpses of quality, particularly taking up a great central position and putting Coleman in on goal. I just think he could provide that bit of quality we’re lacking if he plays in a central midfield attacking role. He’s not a winger, he’s actually a liability defensively (could’ve given a penalty away). In our position we might as well find out about him by giving him a few games.

Cheers Eggs. Sounds quite positive, he should've been given far more game time over the season than he has. Hopefully he'll get the last two.

Why does Allardyce seem to drop players then suddenly throw them in to start games?

Surely its common sense to give Vlasic some minutes off the bench then start him!

He does it to fuel his raging ego.

The player isn’t ready, no sub appearances and of course he will be rusty. Sam hears the fan sentiment for Vlasic and is quite content to bury him to justify his own team selection.
