Nikica is player capable playing up front only, in the middle. Moyes has to find way to put other attacker(s) in and I believe he will.

I'm very excited by this signing. Particularly when you see the likes of Zamora moving for £5m today possibly. Jelavic looks a classy finisher and a confident finisher. I don't think confidence will be a problem for him at all (people are saying he's unproven in the EPL which is true but everyone is at some point) and he'll fully expect to score goals for us. Really excited just hope he gets support either with a partner up front or with a packed attacking midfield. I think this signing could save our season. Wembley awaits! Please no cock-ups Everton.

Well I for one am excited by this player. He looks a proper centre forward and will relish Baines crosses into the box.

Half the battle with centre forwards is confidence and if he comes in confident he could hit the ground running.

I really dont understand the negativity- could be a great number 9 for us. Considering Carlton Cole, Bobby Zomora, Djbril Cisse are all looking at similar transfer fees I think this could be an astute signing.

When I posted about the fee being agreed last night I also posted we'd changed the terms on offer that had been tentatively agreed hence this delay. Despite that it's pretty much nailed on to happen just a typical Everton hitch, it will go through.

If the rumours are true and that we could be getting Pienaar back and perhaps another striker to pair with him (Vossen?) then maybe, just maybe, we can get something on the go.
