Another broken striker in the long line of many. Wish we could just have a world-beater type, all the other teams have that top-scoring front man, some have several. Rooney, Aguero, Suarez, hell even Giroud is providing his part. Chelsea have that spanish midfield 4-6-0 scoring thing going, but we really need a predator that keeps going all year round. Lukaku, sadly, is not it. Not yet anyway.

he wasn't on anything like £50 grand a week. But I get your point.

A loan could have been a win win, Jelavic gets games, gets confidence and comes back fired up and may be helps us in Europe next season, any one who thinks we will sign £5/7m striker in this window will be disappointed IMO.
He has but his Country before Club so i will wish him well.
