And no credit to Begovic as he didn't save the attempt but just watched Jelavic hit it back to a stoke player... Oh wait, no, a good keeper saved a shot that probably could've been better.

Last week for the same miss by Lukaku everyone was "well yeah, Mignolet is class", but this week for the same thing - "Jelavic is crap".

It's not that he can't be arsed to perform. He just isn't capable. He looked distraught when he missed that yesterday.

The wages we're giving him are basically ludicrously generous incapacity benefits.

i still think he's got something to add to us,
i think he'll be important with all the games coming up soon, even if it's just to give lukaku a breather in games that we've got sewn up.
yesterday he showed some good touches (putting mirallas through) and did well to turn shawcross (ok he's a bit crap) to get a run on goal.
i don't think we'll ever see the jela that first arrived here again but i can see him getting 5-10 goals for us this season. (providing he doesn't go in january)

With me it's just hope he does come good, coz when he was good he was BOSS. Thing is every time he comes on whether home or away we throw the Jelavic song out. Whether it's because it's a boss song or whether the majority of blues are still hopeful I don't know. I know most of the lads round me want him to come good. I ain't give up on him. Lukaku will be gone in the summer.

The goals he scored have made it worth it for me. Was on such a high when Jelavic was slotting for fun.
